Introducing....Lil Miss Louise E. Anna

Nope, this is not her........
She is my "Trailer Trash", Toilet Paper Doll...soon to be listed on my Etsy.....under~Pimp my trailer :)
She is a bit over~ exposed~LOL

Here she is.....

Lil Miss Louise E. Anna.....1969 (my birth year) Playmor.....14 foot, Vintage trailer Love her retro interior.....my daughters like it better then my Fireball!!! She is very cute on the inside.....I spent 2 hours cleaning her today.

Linoleum...all originalFront View......she is much cuter on the inside. Isn't it what's inside that counts...the inner beauty. :)

She reminds me of the Movie "Little Miss Sunshine".....She may not win any beauty pageants for Vintage trailers.... but she has a lot of character.

I will save the story of...... how I came up with her name.....and where she came from......until next week.

Spending Sunday with my daughter.....at the Antique Fair in Clovis. I will be meeting Betty and her daughter for lunch, and hope to meet Becky too :) (You can click on the names to see which bloggers they are)

Soon...she will arrive(not the picture~lol). I am excited but nervous too! As I mentioned before...I had no intention of getting this..just called out of curiosity because of my love for vintage.....and the year 1969(my birth year).

It seems I missed my blogiversary...March 15th~1 year. Looking back.......

I opened my website~
Started blogging~
Seem to have become VERY disorganized~
Added some fun Vintage items in my life :)~
Gained almost 10 lbs!!~

So......I will not have a big celebration for my 1 year Anniversary but sometime soon....I will have a Give~away. Thinking of......a years subscription to "Romantic Homes"(my fav. magazine).

Someone pinch me ........

We are back from the beach.......The weather was a bit unpredictable ....rainy,windy...then the sun would pop out. I did not bring my camera and I sure wish I did.

Sophee-a joined us for dinner...dressed in her best dress. We sat outside..by a cozy fireplace and dined on Fillet Mignon. I am going to brag here.......she has such great manners~lol

I always get compliments on her and how quite and mild mannered she is.....and like all proud mommy's.....I beam and politely say" Thank you".
When we arrived home on Sunday...there was an interesting message on my machine. I called on something a few weeks ago~just because.
I knew Hubby would not go for this at all!!!!

Believe me......I really was just curious about this item.....and knew it was not meant to be.
I already got my wish....a trailer and a bike too.

Betty.....Shhhh~ do not tell anyone(had to tell some one)....Betty was wanting something like it for her back yard, so I told her about it.

It matches the bike.....(not on purpose)..I called on this even before I had my bike.....they just happen to be the same color!

Hubby and I have been sick for a few days with the stomach flu.....my whole daycare had it :(

We made plans to go to Cambria and then got sick......but we feel much better today so we are sticking to our plans.

We were going to take the trailer but she is going in for her paint job!!!!
I decided on the stripe colors~finally.....I went neutrall.....I am a fickle gal and change my mind a lot! Black,Pink,White and Turquoise are the colors that I am decorating with.......I was going to do Pink on the outside but was not sure if I wanted the large stripe pink or black.

Hubby does not even know what I decided yet.....I thought I would tell my bloggy friends first :)
She will be all white......with a large black stripe(has blue now) and the accent stripe will be silver.....Going to add some white wall tires and silver moon hubcaps. I am going to have a black and white awning made in a month or so too.

The inside will be in done in all the accent colors that I mentioned....with lots of poodles too. I will show you all when she is ready.....:)

Those who know me...know I love old dolls.....found this gal on Etsy for $5.....She is going to undergo a tiny makeover and will be part of my trailer decor
I think someone cut her hair and gave her some make up~LOL

She has HUGE feet!!!!

Green......not Pink!

I have been searching for a Vintage Bike.....to ride and use as a cute planter on my patio too.

Last week, while searching craigs list for a computer chair for my son.....I took a peek at bikes....typed in Vintage bike..... and WOWZER!

A vintage bike had just been listed. I called and got the info.,price, etc.
It was $100 but I tried $75....settled on $80. I was thrilled and knew it would soon be mine. I called hubby to ask if I could indulge....on yet another, must have~lol. He said o.k. and picked it up after work.....SMOOCHES!

I had been looking at cute reproductions at Target, etc....PINK was the color of choice. I am so happy that I waited......GREEN is perfect. Don't you think?

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!!!

Baby....... had a check up~UPDATE~" Fab Find" on Craigs list

Hubby took the trailer for a check up yesterday......wanted to make sure all was well before we invest in a paint job. Good news...no major work is needed. Just some minor stuff to get ready to paint and some electrical for the inside lights and stove.

Every time I look at my trailer...I love it even more. I cannot wait for the paint job and our Pismo trip with other Vintage trailer enthusiasts!!!

Next check~up.......the little Princess.....I have been putting off having her spayed. She is 2 years old and I know it is past due.....but I am worried.....she needs a good teeth cleaning too!

My son turns 18 Thursday!!!!! He just wanted his room redone and a trip to Pismo with his girlfriend.......right up my ally. I have been having fun searching for bargains. I may do a before and after....he said I can't paint though :(

I spent last Saturday thrifting....all day :) You should have seen what I bought for barely over $100. A vintage desk for my son, a vintage, Singer sewing machine for the store.... some misc. Easter items and lots of other goodies too! Sorry I did not take any pics this time.

I think I talked Hubby into looking for an old truck to go along with our trailer......He thinks it is for him.....little does he know~I want it for cruise'in around town and hauling my vintage finds :)

UPDATE~Found something on craigs list.....Boy did I get lucky.....it was just posted and I was the first caller! Hubby(love ya!) is picking it up tonight....Will be back Sunday to show you all.

Great Expectations

I had great expectations for Sunday......spend all day at the Alameda Flea Market. It poured all day Sunday.....only about 10 vendors braved the rain! I even brought a baby stroller so I could sneak the Fur~baby in~LOL

I was pretty disappointed....my plan was to buy some goodies for me and to sell too. We hit a few thrift stores and a smaller Flea market......we did not find a lot and what I did find~I am keeping :)

I spent Wed~Fri last week at Jury duty.....3 days to pick a jury! Out of 75 potential jurors...only about 7 of us never got called to the front......but I had to sit for 3 day!!!!! You make a whopping $15 a day(2nd day). I am all for doing my civic duty but it seems a bit flawed.

I will be deleting my Prairee Princess blog later this week......I have been blogging for almost a year and wanted to try a new approach.....most of you prefer this blog.....so I will be incorporating my "Prairee Princess" concepts here.

I am packing up my packages for my give away winners....I was hoping I could have given a few goodies from Alameda too....Oh well....there is always next month. I will be watching the weather very carefully.
