Decision day has arrived~

A BIG THANK YOU......to those of you who gave your valuable input. Great names....I loved them all. I had two that were in the running.....Pawsh2Prairee and Poodles2Petticoats.

I will be putting your names in a drawing....for some Pawsh Poodle~Prairee Princess Pretties :) Winner will be announced on Monday.

Pawsh Poodle Boutique has been my website store for over a year now......with the new year....I wanted to try something different. Prairee Princess has been an idea that I have toyed with for months. My thoughts were to incorporate the 2 on my website. I did not want to give up Pawsh Poodle because..it is dear to my heart. I was thinking of ways to convey the concept and change my dot com address too.

My web designer and I came up with the idea of showcasing both.....2 stores in one.
One would have the Pawsh Poodle ~City feel and the other would have the Prairee Princess~Country feel.

My website was to undergo a complete transformation......about the time I decided on all of this.....I got the news that another one of my daycare children was leaving. I spent all weekend designing the new look....only to be told on Monday that my income would be shrinking..AGAIN! Parents are trying to cut costs and have children stay with grandparents..etc.

With that news......I had to make a decision....spend the $ to revamp the site or wait awhile until I could justify this kind of spenditure. I decided to wait a while.... and introduce Prairee Princess in a more subtle way, with very little cost.

So, on that note.....my BIG plans will be put on hold but I will have some subtle changes on my website. Please pop over today and look at my site(before).....the changes will be small but I would love to see who notices. Monday.....(I hope) the new changes will be in place...then you can compare..but do not blink because you might miss them, LOL.

I need your ideas & advice.....PLEASE

Some of you know....and some of you don't. I have a new blog~Prairee Princess. I deleted my trailer blog..because I can update you right here on the progress of my Vintage trailer.

A few of you who have visited my Prairee Princess blog.....thought I may be painting that on my trailer......great guess but it is incorrect~sorry.

Without giving the WHOLE thing away.....I need some ideas on a name.
It needs to convey....both Prairee Princess and Pawsh Poodle.

There has been some confusion on Pawsh Poodle.....most people think it is a pet boutique. In the very beginning it was going to be a pet boutique..called Sophee~a's Closet.
At the final hour..I changed the name to~Pawsh Poodle and instead of just pet items...it would now have vintage and new items too. I am always evolving and finetuning what works and what does not. I finally decided on a vintage....shabby theme and it seems to work the best and fit into my life very well.....no more buying mass produced items that just sit.

While out thrift shopping....many months ago......I stumbled on a few fun items. The idea of Prairee Princess was born!! I love the look of vintage cowgirl and those wonderful pink petticoats. Prairee Princess.....is my own twist, on what is circulating out there right now.

Here is where you ALL come in......I need as many comments as possible, so I will resort to bribing.....gifts are involved~LOL

I have some ideas but nothing is set in stone....until this weekend~ so Hurry....I need to make a decision by FRIDAY!

A few of my Pawsh friends have found me here already. I would like to take you all along for the ride.....along the dusty trail,past the tumbleweeds,amongst the wildflowers~ to a place full of fab. Junque and Prairee Princess roses.

Howdy Gals~and Guys too (bro.)
I had such a great weekend.....basking in the Ca. sunshine....walks with the hubby and our dogs(do not tell Sophee-a that I called her a dog).

We FINALLY found a painter for our trailer....after about 4 bids ranging from $4000~$3000~we got a guy for $1200. This includes putting our bumper back on,painting it,painting the tongue and propane tank and the whole trailer with the stripes.....he knows some one that can do art work too. I will show you what we are thinking, later. I decided against the Paris theme but will be doing lots of POODLES and 50's,60's decor.

Painting will be done in March so stay tuned for the big reveal!

Is anyone curious about Prairee Princess? I have blogged about it before. I just recently found that there are roses called Prairee Princess and they are Pink too.

A few people have discovered my secret...I have not concealed it...it can be found fairly easily.

Creating more work for myself....but it keeps my creative juices flowing and my imagination running wild!

I am having a relaxing weekend so far.....I am off on Monday and going to get some more estimates on painting my trailer.

Gotta run.....off to clean and daydream about Pink roses, Vintage denim and lace and travelin the open road with my Sweet little travel trailer.

~Cleaning House~

Well, not really......just cleaning up my blog and website a bit. I have deleted my swaps from 2008 to make room for 2009. I am also doing a few other things....to enhance my blog. I thought about making it Private but decided against that.

Also, I am making a few changes on my website.....you can read about it here~The Pawsh Poodle Boutique~I added some buttons on the top....my amazing web designer~Victoria~ just did them today.....be sure to check it out. This is not a sales pitch. I do not have any items for sale on my site right now~LOL

I have not updated my trailer blog yet.....but I did find out,despite what the DMV said..it is a 1961. So, I do not have to change my other blog name :) To be exact...it is a 1961 Fireball~model~Meteor, Standard(no toilet, LOL) I will be giving an update soon.

As for REALLY cleaning my house....I am plugging away at that. Any excuse not to do it, I will find one. I sure wish I could afford to have my house cleaners again....maybe some day.

Hello!!! Did you miss us? It feels like forever since I have blogged....before Thanksgiving to be exact!

I have been off for 2 weeks and today was my first day back to reality. I have had such a relaxing few weeks....spending time with my family,celebrating mine and my daughter's Birthdays, Christmas, New Years, and the Chargers "BIG" win in overtime :)

Here is a brief update of my BLOG FREE time~

*Thanksgiving was wonderful

*My sons team did Not win the play offs :( High School Football is done.

*The trailer made it home....safe and sound

*My daughter turned 20...and had finals before Christmas

*I turned 39

*My daughter was home for 2 weeks!!!!

*My brother, AKA... Alfie Laroo, and his family were here from Idaho. We got to spend Christmas and New Years Eve with them

*Rang in 2009 with those I love

*I am know back to 1 Antique store... as of Jan 12th~LOL
The one that I first started selling in.

*I went back to work today after 2 weeks off!!

*The trailer got wired CORRECTLY....for lights,breaks,etc.
It is now fully registered with the CA. DMV. They told my Hubby that it is NOT a 1961 but a 1947 Fireball!! The vin # on the Trailer indicated it was a 1947. My gal is 62 years old!!!(Not sure if I agree, but I have to go by the VIN # and the DMV workers word)
I guess I better change my other blog~LOL

So Friends, that is what I have been up too....I have been lurking on your blogs so I would not be so far behind. I promise not to lurk..but leave a comment too :)

I did not make ANY Resolutions for the New Year....they are always the same and I ALWAYS break them.I do hope to get more organized and then hopefully all the rest will fall into place.
