I had great expectations for Sunday......spend all day at the Alameda Flea Market. It poured all day Sunday.....only about 10 vendors braved the rain! I even brought a baby stroller so I could sneak the Fur~baby in~LOL
I was pretty disappointed....my plan was to buy some goodies for me and to sell too. We hit a few thrift stores and a smaller Flea market......we did not find a lot and what I did find~I am keeping :)
I spent Wed~Fri last week at Jury duty.....3 days to pick a jury! Out of 75 potential jurors...only about 7 of us never got called to the front......but I had to sit for 3 day!!!!! You make a whopping $15 a day(2nd day). I am all for doing my civic duty but it seems a bit flawed.
I will be deleting my Prairee Princess blog later this week......I have been blogging for almost a year and wanted to try a new approach.....most of you prefer this blog.....so I will be incorporating my "Prairee Princess" concepts here.
I am packing up my packages for my give away winners....I was hoping I could have given a few goodies from Alameda too....Oh well....there is always next month. I will be watching the weather very carefully.

Your fur baby is so adorable!! I wish I could convince my fur babies...all cats..to sit in a stroller. :) I think only Quincy would. Sorry you didn't find any great things on your flea market jaunt. I'm excited though...Palmer Wirf's Antique show is in town! Woohoo!

Thanks for the geographical and flea/antique info! A bit far for me to drag 4 kids and hubby to do their fav thing. . . shopping! Don't count me out though. . . never say never! This past Saturday I shopped at a French flea market put together by some ladies who had some fun stuff. I bought 2 cane back chairs with burlap seats and 2 cast iron planters. My camera batteries died after about 10 photos (just my luck!) I will post them on my blog soon so I hope you drop by!
Oh! That's a bummer. There was a really good estate sale over by city college too. I bought a few more tea cups and I bought Christy a beautiful amber moon and stars cookie jar and compote. You should have stayed in town. LOL At least you got to see your daughter!

it was a bit of a bust last weekend. even that sale I told you about wasn't that great when I went back.
I just wrote Ash about a garage sale I am having with a friend next week. She might be able to find some cute stuff.
I just couldn't figure out how you found time for another blog on top of it all!
